Organization

The Porto Conte Ricerche organisational structure is divided into three first-level sectors.

These are assigned functions related to the core activity of the Research Centre: the administrative sector, production sector and technical sector. The three sectors ensure the provision of administrative and auxiliary functions and services, activities for the development and provision of technological services, industrial research and experimentation, and the operation and maintenance of the systems.

Under the direction and coordination of the Sole Administrator, the three sectors are integrated into the internal and external services at all levels and contribute to the achievement of Porto Conte Ricerche’s strategic goals and the fulfilment of its mission.

Management and organisational units

The Sole Administrator represents the senior management and directs and coordinates resources and programmes with a unified approach, defining the functional links between the company’s organisational units.Organisational Units The operational structure of Porto Conte Ricerche is divided into the following organisational units: level I (sectors), Level II (services) and programmes (programme units), each with a group of human and material resources and headed by a manager. The Sectors perform specialised tasks for the management of internal functions and services or for the design, development and delivery of external end services. Organisation chart

Porto Conte Ricerche is headed by a Sole Administrator appointed by the shareholders. This appointment is made by Sardegna Ricerche in accordance with art. 2449 of the Italian Civil Code. The shareholders also appoint the internal control body (Sole Auditor) and the Scientific Steering Committee.
