Enabling Technologies

Key Enabling Technologies (KET) provide the technological basis needed for a wide range of innovative product applications.

KETs are based on a high intensity of knowledge, research and development to increase the performance of products and processes and reduce their environmental impact, thereby greatly enhancing their social and commercial value.

Porto Conte Ricerche offers services based on KETs through development activities in the field of biomarker discovery (proteomics, genomics and metabolomics) and for the design of new products and analytical services in the field of in vitro diagnostics (immunodiagnostics, molecular imaging, biosensors and nanobiosensors and molecular genetics systems).

The services can be accessed by companies and by public and private research institutions, in either self-service or full service modes, as further specified in the downloadable rules.
