Diagnostic Systems Laboratory

The services offered by the laboratory involve the design and development of immunodiagnostic systems.

Technological equipment

The laboratory provides flow cytometry systems (BD FACSCanto II) and other state-of-the-art devices for the development of immunodiagnostic systems for quantitative and qualitative molecular studies of the immune response. The technological equipment also includes potentiostats complete with recorders, electrode welding stations, stereoscopes, a microfluidic pump and other minor instruments.

Diagnostic Systems lab services

The laboratory allows the development of systems for detecting specific animal and human diseases in the field of allergies and food intolerance, infectious diseases, vaccination studies, and various immunological and immunopathological conditions.In addition, the services include in vitro development and characterisation of micro-sensors and electrochemical biosensors at the prototype stage, and allow the association of biosensors with integrated bio-telemetric monitoring devices, thanks to integration with other core facilities in the Park.Request services using the webform
