Understanding and controlling dairy ruminant mastitis

The Scientific School “Understanding and Controlling Dairy Ruminant Mastitis”  is aimed to offer a training and learning opportunity to all those interested in intramammary infections and mastitis, providing a general overview of the disease. By putting together different perspectives in terms of dairy species, research interests and work environments, the School aims to encourage cross-fertilization and multidisciplinarity, favoring the encounter of dairy professionals and lecturers having different experiences in terms of basic and applied research environments.

The maximum number of attendants will be of 25, in order to favor exchange among attendants and with lecturers and to ensure a good participation to practical activities.

    Porto Conte Ricerche is a research center of the Science and Technology Park of Sardinia.The technological laboratories at Porto Conte Ricerche enable the integrated application of methodologies and experimental pipelines with a focus on industrial research, and are devoted to the development of knowledge, processes, products and services with applications in biotechnology (biomedicine, agroindustry, environment) and in food technology (quality, safety and sustainability in food distribution, consumers’ health, trademarks and labels).Among other activities, Porto Conte Ricerche carries out R&D activities in the farm animal sector, especially concerning the development of innovative diagnostic systems for infectious diseases.
