Research and technology development for enterprises

To help companies grow through technological innovation, Porto Conte Ricerche organises various programmes into both “traditional” and “high-tech” industrial sectors.

According to the Regional guidelines, Porto Conte Ricerche operates through a technology-push approach, towards markets that require horizontal technologies (biotechnologies), and on-demand, identifying the needs expressed by the different company sectors.

More than 100 of the “traditional companies” have participated in business innovation initiatives organised by Porto Conte Ricerche over the past 5 years and many “high-tech” companies originated outside of the region have recently established all or part of their development and production laboratories in Sardinia.

Porto Conte Ricerche can also accommodate businesses, even in the start-up phase, and public and private research organisations that wish to carry out their activities, particularly research and development.
